HR Excellence Awards
The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Middle Tennessee Society for Human Resource Management (MT|SHRM) developed the HR Excellence Awards program in 2002 to recognize quality human resources policies and practices in Nashville-area organizations. The awards criteria, which include HR management practices; employee education, training and development; employee well-being and satisfaction; HR strategy; and measurement of HR function and HR organizational level performance, are based on the HR portions of the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence Awards and Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Awards programs.
