Shoemaker Financial is a privately owned and operated financial services firm in Brentwood. We are a Christian based firm and we’ve been around for over 40 years. Our Headquarters are in Memphis and we have branches throughout TN, IN, and SC. We are a comprehensive financial services firm and financial planning comes first alongside our clients. We’re interested in helping clients and associates define and achieve their financial goals while building relationships that last a lifetime.
What’s the best thing about doing business in Middle Tennessee?
The best thing about doing business in Middle Tennessee is meeting a wide range of talented individuals who have so much to offer. As a recruiter, I enjoy meeting many different types of people with different backgrounds, career histories, and unique life experiences. It’s also a pleasure to be part of such a vibrant networking community.
What has been the most valuable aspect of your Chamber membership?
The most valuable aspect of our Chamber membership has been connecting with other businesspeople in the area and forming meaningful relationships. I’ve been able to conduct one-on-one meetings with people and enjoyed the intimacy, trust, and referral partnerships we’re building.
What’s your biggest goal for your company this year?
My biggest goal for my company this year is to add 10 more outstanding financial advisors to our Brentwood office. We are looking for top talent and have found great success in career changers who are looking for a better work/life balance. We have just made our selection process even more rigorous so we can attain the brightest individuals with the highest odds of being successful in the industry.
How do you stay involved in the community?
We stay involved in the community by hosting blood drives for the American Red Cross. In our most recent drive, we collected over our goal with 25 pints of blood to help save lives.
