International Business Council
The purpose of the Chamber’s International Business Strategy is to create economic prosperity by educating and engaging industry leaders, facilitating global business connections and promoting Middle Tennessee as a dynamic place for international business by:
- Building and cultivating relationships which create opportunities for foreign direct investment.
- Promoting the Nashville region as a dynamic place for international business both at home and abroad by promoting the region’s advantages as a global business hub, supporting growth of international air service and by creating an optimal business climate/quality of life for international interests.
- Connecting existing and prospective global companies with resources that help them grow in and succeed in Middle Tennessee.
- Engaging the Nashville region’s international business community through the IBC Advisory Board, Global Business Ambassadors program and IBC events and programs.
- Serving as Middle Tennessee’s international information resource through historic knowledge, data collection, and information gathering regarding the region’s international business community.
