Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and Nashville Health Care Council has been made aware of an extraordinary collective effort being led by Senator Bill Frist and Brad Smith to assist with immediate humanitarian relief for Ukraine, coming out of Nashville.
This effort, with the support of Governor Bill Lee, former Governor Bill Haslam, and the state of Tennessee, has already pulled together a significant amount of medical supplies and equipment donations for Ukraine and Poland.
If you or your organizations are interested in joining this collective effort out of Nashville, you may do so by making a tax-deductible donation for the purchase and transport of donated or purchased medical or surgical supplies and equipment for Ukraine humanitarian relief to the Nashville-based global health 501(c)(3) nonprofit Hope Through Healing Hands (HTHH), Tax ID: 45-0529570. Contributions may be made:
- Online at hopethroughhealinghands.org/donate;
- By check via mail addressed to Hope Through Healing Hands at P.O. Box 158554, Nashville, TN 37215; or
- By wire or bank transfer by emailing or calling Erin Rogus, CEO of HTHH at erogus@wfrist.com or (202) 841-5704.
100% of donations made to HTHH in March and April 2022 are being directed to provide immediate humanitarian relief in Ukraine by facilitating medical or surgical supplies requested by Ukraine and Poland.
As Nashville and our state come together to assist with this humanitarian crisis, I am reminded once again of the health care community’s unity, strength, and goodwill. A community in which we should all be proud to be a part.
Sincerely,
Ralph Schulz, CEO & President, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce
