Assess individuals’ communication skills and implement speech and language treatment based on established goals, in individual or group settings.
Serve, communicate, and consult as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
Maintain detailed records and compile written progress reports and treatment plans as needed.
Evaluate need and type of augmentative communication devices and provide guidance and training to parents/guardians, teachers, and/or caretakers on the use of needed devices.
Participate in ongoing treatment meetings, as well as staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
