How does your company ensure a safe, efficient, and positive culture for your workforce?
KYZEN has always been an employee-focused organization. We believe in our tribe mentality where every person and item plays a role and contributes in their own positive and unique way. Who are your primary customers or users?
Our primary customers and users come from all areas of industry. They come from the industries of electronics, advanced packaging, solvent cleaning, and metal finishing. The companies can be small operations all the way to Fortune 500 companies. The users are as diverse as KYZEN’s product lines.
What key lesson has your company learned running a manufacturing operation, and what recent achievement or solution best illustrates it?
The key lesson that we have learned is that in running any operation, it is the individuals who come together and form a cohesive unit as a tribe to fulfil the goals and accomplishments.
A recent example is in expanding our operations at our headquarters. With the communication and trust of all those involved, we are able to make our expansion happen in the shortest amount of time and without multiple hiccups. We continue to operate and move product out the door as our expansion continues over the course of these few months.
It is because of the hard work of the KYZEN tribe to pull together and make it all happen.
A company is only as good as the members of the tribe.
Is your co. exploring new technologies, processes, or markets? If so, why are they exploring these opportunities?
We continually explore new technologies, processes and markets on a daily basis. We explore these because of two main drivers – it is what our customers want and our curiosities.
Our customers are a driving force in how the world and technology changes. Listening to them gives us the chance to be a creative in how we care for them. At the same time the creativity of our employees drives them to want to explore their ideas and how they can benefit the entire organization. It is this that drives us to excel and explore new technologies and markets.
How is your company involved in or giving back to the community?
KYZEN continually involves itself in the community with programs for the community. Our most recent was our STEM day, designed for children of all ages. We invited them to our building and set a course of interactive experiments and designed interactions led by our Director of Science.
