Melissa Jaggers is CEO of Community Resource Center of Middle Tennessee (CRC), where she leads efforts to make essential hygiene products accessible to neighbors across the region. CRC works through schools and community organizations to provide items such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and period products to people who need them. These everyday necessities are often out of reach for families facing financial hardship and are not covered by SNAP.

Melissa brings more than two decades of nonprofit leadership experience to this work. Before joining CRC in 2026, she served for 21 years as President and CEO of Alignment Nashville, bringing schools and community partners together to expand opportunities for young people. Her experience spans organizational strategy, cross-sector partnerships, philanthropy, volunteer engagement, and community service.

As a speaker, Melissa offers a practical perspective on what it takes to turn community concern into coordinated action. She is especially interested in how nonprofits, businesses, volunteers, and funders can work together to meet basic needs—and why access to hygiene products matters for health, dignity, and participation in school, work, and daily life.
