Through the New Skills Ready Network, JPMorgan Chase & Co. is making a $75 million investment over five-years aimed at expanding access to economic opportunity for young people by supporting communities around the world to develop educational pathways for students that lead to higher education, high-value credentials and real world work experiences connected to high-wage, high-skill, in-demand jobs. This project will support young people to successfully transition from secondary school to postsecondary education and well-paying careers in growing industries.

New Skills Ready will support a network of six U.S. sites:

  • Nashville, TN
  • Denver, CO
  • Dallas, TX
  • Columbus, OH
  • Boston, MA
  • Indianapolis, IN

These sites are partnerships between local school systems, postsecondary institutions, intermediary organizations, employers and state education and workforce development agencies. Each site partnership will increase student completion of high-quality career pathways through a combination of local implementation, practice change and state-level policy to scale career pathways and promote economic mobility for populations of underrepresented students.
