The Nashpreneurs Conference, held on August 22 at the Hilton Nashville Green Hills, hosted over 100 attendees who engaged in discussions related to AI and how it is evolving to benefit and assist entrepreneurs.

The event also featured sessions on the legal aspects of AI, discussions on AI’s role in entrepreneurship, and the Nashpreneur of the Year Award. With a packed schedule, and emcee Anna-Vija McCloud, CEO Piccolo Solutions, the event attracted local entrepreneurs eager to gain insights into the evolving intersection of technology and business.

Notable speakers, such as Dr. Jules White of Vanderbilt University, delivered the keynote address on AI and the future of learning. Dr. White conducted several demonstrations that guided entrepreneurs on how to use AI to simplify tasks and create content-generation tools for their everyday lives.

The breakout sessions were well-received, offering practical advice on navigating AI’s complexities. Attorney A.J. Bahou led a discussion on intellectual property in AI, while Atiba’s senior team shared expertise on integrating AI into entrepreneurial ventures. The event concluded with a demonstration by Brian Moyer, founder and CEO of The Innovation Studio, capping off a day that highlighted the growing importance of AI in Nashville’s business landscape.

The day also included the presentation of the Nashpreneur of the Year Award, which celebrated the innovation of a local business leader. The Nashville Area Chamber proudly named Monchiere’ Holmes-Jones the 2024 Nashpreneur of the Year. With over 20 years of experience across various industries, she founded MOJO Marketing + PR in 2014. Holmes-Jones exemplifies what it means to be a Nashpreneur—creative, resilient, and a leader helping other entrepreneurs succeed in Nashville’s growing business ecosystem.
