Foley & Lardner LLP announced today that Brent Moreland has joined the firm’s recently launched Nashville office as a partner in its Health Care Practice Group. Moreland’s arrival strengthens Foley’s national Health Care & Life Sciences and Manufacturing Sector capabilities and supports the firm’s strategy to expand its services across priority sectors and high-growth markets.

Brent Moreland

Moreland, who joins Foley from Holland & Knight, brings extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, joint ventures, and strategic investments. His practice is centered on representing clients across a range of health care sectors and also extends to other industries, including manufacturing and real estate. He guides clients through complex, high-stakes transactions and has led deal teams in the acquisitions and dispositions of hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, physician groups, and other medical practices. Moreland also advises manufacturing and real estate companies on public and private financings, business structuring and governance, and other corporate and transactional matters.

“Brent’s arrival reflects our commitment to building a full-service office in Nashville to meet the evolving needs of our clients,” said Daljit Doogal, Foley Chairman and CEO. “His deep transactional experience in the Health Care & Life Sciences and Manufacturing Sectors, combined with his ability to navigate complex matters, enhances our capabilities and strengthens the value we deliver to clients. We are confident Brent will play a key role in driving growth and shaping the future of our Nashville office.”

Moreland’s addition builds on the momentum established with the launch of Foley’s Nashville office in June, which included a corporate group focused on health care and manufacturing. Together, these moves reflect the firm’s commitment to developing a multidisciplinary team in the region that aligns with client demand and supports long-term strategic growth.

“Brent is a highly respected lawyer with a proven track record across health care and other key industries,” said Jesse Neil, managing partner of Foley’s Nashville office. “His depth of experience, along with the strong working relationships he has already built with our Nashville partners, makes him a natural addition to our growing team. Having worked with Brent for years, I have seen firsthand the value he brings to clients. His arrival supports our goal of building adynamic office that reflects the needs of Nashville’s business community and Foley’s national capabilities.”

“Foley’s national platform, deep corporate bench, and strategic investment in high-growth sectors align well with the needs of my clients and the direction of my practice,” said Brent Moreland. “Joining the Nashville office at this stage of its growth presents an exciting opportunity to help shape its trajectory and contribute to expanding Foley’s capabilities in the region. I am thrilled to join the team and look forward to supporting the firm’s continued momentum and success.”
