Dr. O’Donnell received her Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College, where she majored in Physics modified with Biology and Italian Language & Literature. She earned her medical degree with Distinction in Research from Rutgers University, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. She completed her residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), followed by a yearlong fellowship in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
When asked about her goals in patient care, she shares: “After a visit with me, what I’m hoping is that the patient feels that we’ve worked together as a team. Between me and my support staff, the patient, and their family and loved ones—that we’ve come together and developed a treatment plan that everyone’s happy about, whether that entails surgery or not. That we’ve worked together as a team to get them through this.”
