Who is Upper Cervical Spine Center and what should we know about you?
My name is Chris Northcutt, and I’m an upper cervical chiropractor who specializes in the knee-chest technique. I have a passion for helping people restore their health naturally. I’ve always believed the body has an incredible ability to heal itself when the nervous system is functioning at its best. That belief is what led me to specialize in upper cervical chiropractic care. Outside of practice, I enjoy having fun with family and enjoying the Nashville life, and I love being part of a city that values both health and community connection.

At our clinic, we focus exclusively on the top of the spine—the upper cervical area—because even small misalignments here can have a big impact on the whole body. Using a precise and gentle technique, we help patients with issues like headaches, vertigo, and neck pain find lasting relief and improved quality of life. Our goal is simple: to serve the Nashville community by helping people live healthier, fuller lives.

What has been the most valuable aspect of your Chamber membership?
I believe the most valuable aspect of belonging to this chamber is the access to trusted relationships that help our businesses grow.

Are there new markets or demographics you are targeting?
Many of our patients come to us after struggling with:
• Migraines and headaches
• Vertigo or balance problems
• Neck pain and stiffness
• Posture issues
• Nervous system-related health challenges
After correction, they often notice better balance, clearer thinking, improved energy, and lasting relief.

What is unique about your business that makes you stand out?
What makes us different is that our technique is very specific: every adjustment is based on precise x-ray analysis—no “guessing” or unnecessary twisting, popping, or cracking. Our technique is gentle: you’ll kneel on a comfortable table while we deliver a quick but light correction designed just for your body. We are extremely effective: by restoring proper alignment at the very top of your spine, your body can heal and function at its best.

How do you stay informed about industry trends and changes?
I am required to stay informed on both general chiropractic developments and the very specific research and techniques related to upper cervical care. I do these through continuing education, specialty seminars and training programs, and professional associations. One of the best ways of learning is through collaborating with my peers.

Can you share why the Nashville region is a good place to do business?
Nashville is a great place to do business because it combines a strategic location, a diverse economy, and a high quality of life. I’m excited to be a part of such a collaborative culture as Nashville offers.

What do you want to be known for in the business community?
What I want to be known for is that I don’t just aim to relieve pain—my mission is to help my patients restore health, function, and quality of life by addressing the root cause. At my clinic, every patient receives care that is personalized, precise, and focused on helping the body heal naturally from the inside out.
