Position Description / Responsibilities

How would you like to work with global high-technology manufacturers involved in such things as aerospace, electric vehicles, semiconductors, medical implements, and cutting-edge electronics?

KYZEN is currently seeking a motivated BLUE DRUM TEAM member to join our operations team. This position is based at our global headquarters in Nashville, TN.

This role includes a variety of responsibilities across both manufacturing and shipping functions, including blending and packaging products, managing inventory, preparing orders for shipment, and operating warehouse equipment.

Additionally, this team member will:

  • Safely operate a forklift to execute many warehouse duties.
  • Provide general warehousing functions, to include basic maintenance and housekeeping.
  • Blend and package finished goods in accordance with product specifications.
  • Label and prepare products for shipment.
  • Load and unload domestic and international shipments, including LTL, FTL, and intermodal containers.
  • Receive and inspect raw materials, verifying documentation and quality.

Position Requirements

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize job demands in a fast paced work environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to develop a strong knowledge of all standards and specifications that relate to KYZEN products.
  • Motivated and creative problem solver with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Ability to make basic mathematical computations using a calculator and/or spreadsheet.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • United States Citizen**
  • Previous experience working with chemical blending and/or warehousing preferred
  • Experience in forklift operation preferred

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work with chemicals using proper safety precautions
  • Applicant must submit to and pass a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) to determine that they can safely lift and move varying weights up to 80 LBS
