Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of all church areas, including sanctuaries, classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a polished and safe environment.
- Handle janitorial responsibilities with attention to detail, including trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces regularly.
- Assist with light custodial maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs, repairing minor fixtures, and ensuring proper functioning of facilities equipment.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for plumbing, electrical systems or structural issues to appropriate personnel.
- Participate in industrial cleaning projects when required to ensure large-scale or specialized areas are thoroughly sanitized.
- Maintain cleanliness logs and safety records to ensure compliance with health standards and safety protocols.
