Digital Director

Position Description / Responsibilities

Calvert Street Group is looking for an experienced Director of Digital to work with and lead the firm’s digital team, define and implement recommendations for clients and provide strategic advice.

Our ideal candidate should be able to collaborate with internal and external teams and set goals and objectives for client engagements.

The Director will utilize skills to manage a team and project and stay up to date on the latest online marketing and data targeting techniques. Tactics include social media, paid media, content creation and SEO / online marketing skills.

The candidate will thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, valuing teamwork and shared success.

Previous political campaign experience is a plus, although not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the digital team staff and oversee projects
  • Serve as a senior advisor for client projects
  • Design and implement digital strategies for clients within budget requirements
  • Recruit, train and mentor new digital staff
  • Implement and oversee use of all digital tools (e.g. social media, database management)
  • Set specific digital objectives and monitor progress

Position Requirements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of proven work experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
  • Solid experience with online marketing tools and web-based technologies
  • Expertise with managing multiple digital channels, SEO/SEM and CRM software
  • Experience with online paid advertising
  • Strong analytical skills
  • BSc degree in Digital technologies, Marketing or other related field
