Position Overview
As a Host at Party Fowl, you are the first face our guests see and the first impression they receive. In this guest-facing role, you’ll be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing table flow, and setting the tone for a positive dining experience. You’ll thrive in this role if you bring a warm smile, strong organizational skills, and a guest-first mindset. Our Hosts are leaders in hospitality and ambassadors for the Party Fowl experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally as they enter the restaurant.
- Manage the waitlist and accurately quote wait times.
- Distribute menus and answer initial guest questions.
- Assign and seat guests according to table availability and guest preferences, while maintaining balanced server sections.
- Monitor the dining area to anticipate guest needs and communicate updates with team members.
- Answer incoming phone calls, take reservations, and assist with to-go orders.
- Use tablets or point-of-sale systems to process online orders from partner platforms.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, bathrooms, and retail area.
- Support other front-of-house team members as needed during high-volume shifts.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout each guest interaction.
