This position serves as a development representative to recruit and help retain new members and investors to the Chamber. This position’s primary responsibility is securing new investors to support the Chamber’s economic development initiative, Partnership 2030.
The essential functions of this position are:
- Proactively contacts corporations and community entities to make asks and encourage them to invest in Partnership 2030. Meets with prospective companies individually to deliver the value proposition of being engaged in Partnership 2030.
- Accountable for managing a prospect sales funnel to achieve or exceed revenue recruitment goals. Identify strong potential prospects to generate outbound leads and sales opportunities
- Knowledgeable about issues of importance to investor and prospect executives and communicates opportunities for engagement/involvement to new Chamber investors.
- Participates in Chamber and Partnership 2030 events to promote interest in Chamber investment.
- Works in partnership with VP, Member & Investor Relations and investor relations team to build sales and prospect strategies to acquire new investors and ensure future renewal
- Coordinate sales ask with Investor Relations team when prospect is a strong candidate for Partnership 2030 investment.
- Assist with investor renewals as needed by VP, Member & Investor Relations.
- Maintains confidentiality of member information.
