Leasing + Marketing Manager

The Leasing and Marketing Manager is a team leader. This person knows how to keep their team motivated and excited about their community and achieving goals. This role is best filled by someone who enjoys a team dynamic and is passionate about sales. This person is outgoing, has a dynamic personality and a willingness to engage groups. The Leasing and Marketing Manager will train, motivate, and develop team members and establish goals for the team. They are responsible for providing five-star, exceptional, customer service. This position reports directly to the Kenect Executive Director and provides onsite supervision while meeting and exceeding leasing and occupancy targets. This person is responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting as set forth by the reporting guidelines and the Executive Director. Weekly calls to review leasing and marketing are required.

Familiarity with market competitors, local community, and current developments in the submarket will provide additional success in this role. Must be goal and sales oriented to maintain leasing and occupancy requirements. A sales environment changes frequently and being adaptable, flexible, and organized will help this person thrive is a fast-paced office.

What this opportunity entails:

Provide warm, friendly and inviting service while promoting the Kenect lifestyle.
Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, and all other laws pertaining to the leasing of multi-family apartments.
Manage and assist the leasing process, ensuring contract terms are clearly communicated with and agreed to by the client.
Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property and that of major competition through site visits/tours and telephone surveys.
Coordinate new resident move-ins.
Participate in outreach marketing activities, distribute flyers, advertising, and marketing materials.
Assist with application verifications and ensure accurate and timely completion of lease file paperwork for the entire leasing team.
Lead, coach, mentor and train the leasing team to exceed goals.
Prepare timely and accurate daily, weekly, and monthly leasing reports.
Participate in weekly leasing calls with ownership and investors.
Assist and provide a fun and engaging experience for members at required property events.
Assist in social media marketing and regular marketing audits for accuracy of advertising.
Recommend pricing and incentives for new leases and renewals.
Maintain company customer service standards.
Respond to resident requests in a timely manner and work with residents to minimize and resolve problems and complaints.
Follow through to ensure issues are resolved.
Assist in ensuring that the grounds, buildings and units are fully functional, safe and attractive.
Visually inspect grounds, buildings and units on a regular basis.
Ensure units are always show ready.
Attend required meetings and training seminars.
All other duties as assigned.

What we need from you:

3+ years of leasing experience in the multifamily
Experience with Yardi, CRM and Rent Café strongly preferred
Keen attention to detail and ability to compile required reports timely
Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills
Knowledgeable in Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act and Equal Opportunity Housing laws, regulations, and procedures
Excellent customer service skills
Distinguished in all social media outlets
College degree strongly preferred
