Sales Executive (Independent Contractor – 1099)

Position Overview:
As a 1099 Sales Executive with FCI Brands, you’ll operate as an independent contractor focused on building and maintaining relationships with clients to deliver high-quality branded solutions. You will manage your own sales pipeline, work with our in-house support and design team, and represent FCI Brands with professionalism and enthusiasm.
This is a commission-based role with flexible hours, allowing you to grow your income based on your effort and results.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect & Develop New Business: Identify and reach out to potential clients in industries such as construction, real estate, finance, healthcare, education, and more.
Client Relationship Management: Maintain and grow existing client relationships through consistent communication, creative product ideas, and excellent service.
Product & Brand Consultation: Work with clients to identify the right promotional products and branded solutions to meet marketing, event, and employee engagement goals.
Sales Presentations & Quotes: Prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations tailored to client needs using FCI’s product resources and catalogs.
Order Management: Collaborate with the internal FCI Brands team to ensure smooth order processing, proof approvals, and on-time delivery.
Networking & Referrals: Represent FCI Brands at local business events, trade shows, and networking groups (e.g., BNI, Chambers of Commerce) to expand your client base.
Sales Reporting: Track and report sales activity, maintain accurate records, and follow up on leads and open quotes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development (experience in promotional products or B2B sales a plus)
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and driven to achieve results
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Comfort with commission-based compensation
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
