Job Summary:
Lithographics, Inc. is looking for a self-motivated, hardworking, and energetic Stitcher Operator (Bindery) to join our team. Stitcher Operator sets up and operates machine to automatically pull up to eight pockets, monitors stitcher and three side cuts. Examines work order to determine setup specifications. The Stitcher Operator adjusts machine during production to run as required.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains general knowledge and understanding of stitcher processes and equipment. Preferred Mueller Martini Stitcher experience.
- Ability to read and follow job specifications to determine stitcher set-up materials needed to run the job successfully.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as tracking sheets, and order confirmation sheets.
- Skill to follow instructions to operate equipment safely and produce a quality product
- Observes and monitors machine operations to detect malfunctions and to determine whether adjustments are needed.
- Ability to maintain high quality product off the equipment
- Records all daily production information. • Follows procedures and safety measures
- Always maintain a clean and safe work area
- Willingness to be a cross-functional employee that can work with multiple teams within the organization to achieve success.
