Aaron Dorn is an experienced corporate leader, strategy executive, commercial banker, non-profit director, and military veteran. Aaron serves as the founder, Chairman of the Board of Directors, President & Chief Executive Officer of Studio Bank, a modern $1 billion-asset commercial bank with a local community focus in Nashville and Franklin, Tennessee.
Prior to founding Studio Bank, Aaron served as a founding team member at the former Avenue Bank in Nashville, where he became an executive responsible for retail banking, strategic planning, and marketing. He also enjoyed a career in commercial underwriting and client management.
Aaron served our country as an intelligence officer in the United States Marine Corps with a tour of duty in Afghanistan, achieving the rank of Captain and earning the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal.
Aaron is an alumnus of Leadership Nashville, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Cheekwood Estate and Gardens and of REBOOT Recovery. He previously served on the boards of Rocketown and Conexión Américas.
Aaron holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management, where he was an E. Bronson Ingram Scholar, Bruce D. Henderson Scholar, and Founder’s Medalist for First Honors.
